Geelong has the won the battle of Victoria's two best teams, but St Kilda can consider itself desperately unlucky as the Saints ran out of fit players at Telstra Dome on Saturday.

I thought the comment "Victoria's two best teams" was a pretty interesting one. Given that you guys are a game clear of both StKilda and Geelong (like the Roos), that would put you above Vic's best. You must feel a bit stiff that the media aren't giving you the respect that you deserve. I know on the Kangaroos board there's a lot of frustration about that. Do you Dees fans also feel the media isn't treating you with enough respect? For mine, you look very much like the real deal. I find comments like the one above a bit absurd.

I don't respect anything that comes from the media about us. Given that they can't go one article, or one segment on tv, without mentioning the tired old stereotype about all our fans being BMW drivers who are more interested in snow than football I don't see why we should bother showing them any respect.

I suggest decapitated pigs heads on the doorsteps of journos who use the snow angle in their stories. Anyone else in?

Melbourne is probably a better team then geelong. there is a good chance that they will beat us down at geelong later in the year but overall we are a better team.

as for saints we'd probably beat em at the G but they love the dome.

come finals time at the G we might have the wood on them

and for the roos we aint played em yet but it should be a great game

if people dont consider us a threat that is fine. I think in the first 3 rounds at full strength we showed what we can do. Once we get our best 22 on the park we can beat anyone on our day and hopefully come finals time we can show people just how good we are!
