Hey, right on Kane. Because Richmond didn't sack Damien Hardwick at the end of 2016 everyting is on track at Alberton. Because Richmond stuck with Hardwick, ONiell and co and subsequently won a Premiership in 2017 the same will happen at Alberton. We are all getting our knickers in a knot for nothing, all we have to do is sit back and savor next year's Premiership. If only it were that easy Kane.

Sorry, but the "best supporters in the league" are gonna need more, way more, than a throwaway tweet, especially after the concerted effort to sh!tcan us in the national media, maybe someone at the club - maybe someone in a leadership position if we have any coz they all seem to be MIA rn - anyway, maybe they could actually push back against this bullsh!t narrative, yeah, I dunno?

Those comments were made by opposition players 5-6 years ago. When fans had hope.

Where to even start with the media coverage over the last few days. Rucci, Kornes, Whately and Derrwayne all framing up the supporters as the issue at Alberton. Gaslighting at its finest. We sorely need a spokesperson to stand up for the paying public.

Add Andrew Capel to the list. He wrote an article in The Advertiser yesterday titled 'Mistake to uproot Hinkley's foundations for staying Power' where he said that the Port Adelaide Football Club board must hold its nerve and stick with Ken Hinkley as coach next year.

A couple of extracts from his article include:
"The decision to back Hinkley in for 2020 should be a no-brainer".

"Some Power supporters don't fully understand just how tough it is to churn out consistently good results in the AFL. It is a far more competitive and ruthless competition than the SANFL, where Port could once bully teams into submission".

"Results next year will provide a better indication of just how good a coach he is". .

FFS Kenny has made the finals once in the last 5 years. He is a perennial underachiever and a lot of the players are mentally weak as soon as Port are not the 'underdogs'. Questionable selections, stagnant player development and speaks like he doesn't have a ******* clue.

West Coast
Geelong
Hawthorn
Collingwood
GWS
Richmond.

Clubs that finished below us in 2014

All of the above except Hawthorn

The best supporters in the league deserve the best coach in the league.

campaigners in the media lecturing us that we're not in the sanfl anymore can go and get ****ed. We know you condescending parasites. We don't expect perpetual dominance, we expect competence.

Our issue doesn't need a historical perspective either. The problems are about the NOW, not some clinging to history bullshit that they've all fallen into line repeating like the mentally challenged lemmings that they are.
