I think I'm not alone in saying that the fake news, trolling etc. on these boards has become a little bit annoying.

We all have a general idea of which journo is reliable and who isn't, but week in week out we have the same rumours from the same sources showing up.

My idea is that we keep a record of the claims made and their eventual truthfulness so that we can give sources of news a credibility rating based on their history.

I think we can use the rest of the season as a prototype and start a new thread for pre-season based on feedback from the BigFooty Freo community.

I think it would be cool to have an award for the most trusted and least trusted.

So basically, quote the template in the second post of this thread and I will update the first post with a link to your post of the rumour.

If the rumour comes from multiple sources, we always want the earliest source.

A great idea. It seems this will have a predictable outcome with some strong performers in the fake news industry being at unbackable odds. First prize for the least trusted could be something like this
