Darnell Mee has left the Sixers to play for a club in Europe.

This is an enormous loss for our side, Mee brings so much to the table in terms of defence, scoring, leadership, etc.

We're looking for a replacement at the moment but I think this could be a body blow to our chances of seriously contending for the title this year.

Phil has said he's going to play some kids, Oscar Forman is one, which is good for the future but I think we will probably struggle this year (in comparison to the past 4 years).

:( :( :(

Join the club ant, without Fisher and Timmons we have been weakened. If the Wildcats and the 36ers dont do anything in the next few weeks we may aswell just hand it to the Titans.

If there wasnt a thing called a "Grand final' - the titans would win it most yrs :p

Bloody victorian chokers! :D

Actually, as a Titans fan I think you guys may have stumbled onto something.

From now the championship should be awarded to whoever finishes on top! You can still have a separate finals series if you want but why should all our hard work over the season be undone in a couple of games?

Trust me, people will accept it if the league give it enough recognition ;)

Havent seen anything of him? Can you give me some info on him.

No problemo....

White American, approx 6'6, 2/3 man (for NBL). Huge verticle.

Leads the State League in scoring and is top 10 in about 5 other categories.....Def boards, total boards, 3 point %, free throw %, blocked shots (I think).

Last week he had 40 points and 20 rebounds. He has a lovely shooting touch and can stroke the 3 regulary. Might be a good replacement for Timmons - but it will be hard to fill his shoes because he was "all class".

I hope that helps. :D

Wow this guy sounds pretty good! Dont watch any of the SBL so i wouldnt know him, he sounds like a Todd Lichti. You remember him.

Yep - prehaps the best "allround" player to play in the NBL - imagine if we got him at the start of his career? :D

Yeah no *****, he was awesome. Cant believe he left us for a media gig in Denver :( Anyway if this guy can do half of what he does in the SBL he will be a very handy player for us.
