i think when everyone began betting for the first time, they would most likely have done multis as the their bets, and very rarely just done straight bets @ 1.90.

ive learnt to cut them out pretty much all together.. and since then ive finally made progress and are seeing consitent results.

This pretty much sums me up atm. I'm slowly learning to cut the multis out (aside from a low risk 2 legger every now and then, usually paying around the 2-2.50 mark)

It's tough and takes some discipline to overlook the potential large profits that can be made from the multi bets, but my spreadsheet tells me I'm on an upward curve since I started trying to stick to single 1.90ish bets.

Been burned by too many multi's missing out by a leg or two, so think I will stick to this system for a while yet.

That shits me about American sports betting...it should be to end of regulation only... especially NFL lines. Anything under -3 is irrelevent if it goes to OT...you're totally screwed!

You can get upwards of $1.90 on England...therefore put some on that and you can't lose!

Give me a break. Sure multi's aren't the way to retirement, but trying to ride a 4/5 leggers home is very enjoyable, especially if you have the opportunity to hedge. Punting for me is purely recreational and bit of a release. No huge wagers just a few $5-$10 multis etc, sorry if l have upset anyone.
Maybe replying to posts rather than editing to add a , might be the way to go in the future.
