There's still a week and a half left of the Comedy Festival, so plenty of time.
Has anyone seen anything? How was it?

I'm seeing Mark Watson next week

I am heading over from Perth later today for a weekend of footy and to catch a few shows. I am seeing Jason Bryne on thursday night and will try and catch a show on saturday or sunday but not sure who yet.

Any recommendations.

I could say watching melbourne play this saturday will be a good laugh. ;)

Havnt been yet this year which is disapointing. Went the last few years. Saw Stephen K Amos last year... he was alright, nothing special.

I saw a couple of smaller acts over the last 2 years who were extreamly funny. If Des Bishop is back this year I would definatly recomend him.

Last year I saw possibly the best act I have ever seen. His name eludes me now but he was an English guy and had a huge beard. It was only in a small little bar, but geee he was bloody hilarious.

We had the Adelaide Fringe here in Feb, saw Stephen K Amos and Tom Gleeson. Amos was good but not great, highly recommend getting in to see Tom Gleeson though. He was excellent.

These 2 were the same 2 I saw last year & have exactly the same opinion as what you've said.

Went to the Gala a few weeks back. Dave Callan was gold. Jason Byrne as per normal will have you in stitches. Dave Thornton & Frank Woodley were also decent value.

I've always wanted to see a Jason Byrne show. I've only ever seen his short spots on comedy festival shows and the like, i'd imagine a full hour of him would just be chaos.

Saw tom green, not a comedian really, just an idiot that yells shit out loud and repeatedly. Big letdown, still laughed though, more at his expense and hipocracy though. Was also in high spirits after going to the footy.

Seeing the jimeoin and jason byrne double tonight. Scored the byrne tickets for $20 aswell!

Also seeing ross noble and charlie murphy next week.

Ive not seen any of these guys in person before so its why i picked them over any unknowns.

If i lived here id go to a show every night i reckon.
