Hope not, have backed Spanish Mission and Japan ante. Can’t beat em join emEven NH 3yos will have increased weight this year for all we know, that could stop that profile.

“The profile” changes every year or few. It’s better to find the next profile than the last one.
The St Leger is compatible with a Cup campaign, Rekindling did that. I’m told the US race is on 7 September so that also seems ok timing wise but may present logistical problems with flights.Apparently Spanish aiming at St Leger, or USA in early Sept.
They’d need to win a G1 between now and then to be a chance to make the CP. I agree, CC looks more his go.Cox Plate appears to be the main aim (reiterating appears). More a CC horse you’d think.
Yes which is why I stated that this is a profile that hasn't worked so far and doesn't look like changing. Feel free to try and jump on it though

worked fine the only time i did it with Fiorente. $9 for WFA form i guess there had to be some reason people were laying it.
how condensed are pre post cup markets these days, plus difficulty in getting set for a decent collect too.
Nelson is one of my early picks
further to this, to only point out the stupidity of profiling winners.
there is 1 winner from 24 starters(tabplz) so many horses run well but can be disregarded.
for instance the infamous "need to start here prior to the cup" profile was still going strong publicly in 2017 before consecutive winners.
going back further Heartbreak City, Max Dynamite, Red Cadeaux, Fiorente had run 2nd in the preceding years.
the only profile that counts and will always stand test of time is race day, well weighted, in form, right run, right conditions. the rest of antepost betting is speculating on improvement or speculating on them getting here.
It’s a pity Cup day isn’t on the first this year. If it was I’d go balls deep on this thing. (English cricket fans will understand)Sheesh - would want to get the prep started sooner rather than later!

100 years to early - couldn't win a Melbourne Cup if it started now
Would have been too slow last year and doubt has got any faster
Any antepost Torcedor backers want to give us some feedback on his overnight performance?
Old Persian ran a nice race overnight in Germany
Copped a fair amount of interference to be fair surprised there wasn’t an enquiry.Personally I'd like him to be easily dealing with the first and second there to be a legit threat.
Aust Bloodstock buy another, Mustajeer joining Lees. Mustn’t be confident in Torcedor.
