Given that you post like an 18yo, I doubt that you are 54. If you were a 54yo, it is true that you would have been alive for several Melbourne flags, but it is highly unlikely that you would actually remember anything of the experience. Perhaps there might be some vague recollection of your old man coming home a bit pissed after the '64 GF, if he managed to get a few beers down before the pubs shut at 6pm.

Speaking as a North fan, I would say the highlights of the club's existence would be the 4 flags I have seen them win. Closely followed by the happy day when the club had a close look at the $100 million bribe the AFL offered us to trash our history and move to the Gold Coast, and told them where to stick it.

With all due respect but how would a Richmond supporter know what young talent looks like? We are talking about trading blunders here, a Richmond minefield.

With all due respect, Richmond supporters don't do the recruiting, I understand that the North supporter group probably comprises only the current members of staff and therefore may actually be involved in recruitment, but at Richmond our supporters generally watch the game, rather than being actual employees of the club, hence they on average would have a similar ability to spot young talent as any other supporter.

Well Bastinac isn't a tagger, if you'd listened to his interviews you would know he was instructed to find the ball himself and although he was wanted to be accountable, he was not asked to do a job on Kerr.

I find it pathetic when Melbourne supporters (who have seen their team starting to rebuild after a few years of patheticness) and North Melbourne supporters argue, are we really that desperate to feel some sense of superiority that we need to try and put down another struggling team?

Both clubs can turn it around, but at the moment are both 1-2.

Besides Fitzroy/ Bears, North is the only other club in the competition that has merged at some point in their history.

A historically weak club that has somehow managed to scrag at the ankles of the better clubs around them and stay alive. So bland and boring.
