Brother SLF - I don't know if you have seen Zombieland. If you haven't, throw on those Wonder Woman undies and get your wormy arse down to the video shop pronto.

Zombieland has many great aspects. For instance, the Rules are cool, and the methodology can be applied to a dynamic such as the Bay which, in its own way, features just as many zombies as the movie.

Somewhat inspired by your meltdown earlier in the thread, I have drawn up my own rules. After all, none of us is infallible, especially me. So here is one of them. Take this dictum to heart. And keep on polishing up that deputy sheriff's badge you wear around with such pride.

Rule 3 – The SLF Radiator Rule: never lose your cool in public - never. One the radiator goes pop, you are broadcasting to the Bay that someone has got under your skin. This is a fundamental rule. Silence as a response is a great weapon.

And every club in the league passed over Aaron a number of times - including Melbourne.

So North taking Harvey in a rookie draft is understandable.

Its not like Melbourne sprung a surprise and used a first rounder on Davey

It doesn't matter how Harvey was rated when he played for Essendon. You guys picked him up as a discarded player, when no one else thought he was worth it. Its not like you took a punt on an untried youngster who didn't turn out.

The irony, ... and take note Brad Roo ..... is that it was the North scouts that brought Davey down to Port Melbourne, and were pleading for him to be selected. But your recruiters decided Harvey would be of more value. And I hope he was for all of his 4 games, versus Davey's 200+

If thats not a drafting blunder, I don't know what is.
