It was great to see the red and white out in force this afternoon at the Swans annual Melbourne family day. The star attraction was Barry Hall and the big man looked terrific. He said the groin release surgury has worked wonders and he is pumped for a big year. He also confirmed he had further eye surgury and he had some work done to his nose.

Youngster Brendan Murphy also made the trip revelaing that he's working hard at learning the game. He is yet to particpate in any competitve work and he may be a long way off that anyway. Lets hope he can learn quickly.

All in all it was a great day and the player's once again didn't let anyone down. Well done boys :thumbsu:

i laughed when he said he spends his days learning kicking, handballing... and the rules! haha great recruit! :p

But all the players were really really friendly and approachable, I had a really good chat with Nick Smith, lol told him he might be a new favourite as a replacement for Schneider! (nothing to do with football ability :p) lol and when i asked if they felt like rockstars at the signing table the all laughed and agreed - good to see them all enjoying themselves, especially the young ones! (even if they did look a bit nervous!) My guernsey looks much better now with all the signitures, Im pretty sure i got everyone who was there. My only complaint is I got a bit sunburnt, haha but it was worth it!

cant wait for the next one!!

At least now your face will match with your guernsey.
For sure. I was actually mistaken for Nick Malceski by a few peaople yesterday, true story. Sporting a Swans polo and a similar hair style to the dynamic left footer, this old bloke greeted me with a "g'day Nick" and this young kid came up to me and asked if I could sign his autograph book. :D

And did you sign it?

If you get lucky, Malceski's girlfriend may mistaken you as Nick himself. Now isn't that a bonus for you? ;)

No I didn't sign it. Didn't want to ruin the young kids day when he found out that melceski wasn't even there.

That would be a massive bouns. But unlikely...:D
