Wasn't Scott Watters linked to a port assistant coaching role prior to his st kilda appointment?

I remember feeling duddded when he was named the st kilda senior coach.

Yep, he was all but signed as an assistant before Saints named him head coach. In hindsight, he would've been better off coming to Port.
