So Fitzy would have been a top ten pick last year barring injury, stoked we got him at 50. We're going to have to cut a few of our rucks this off-season, bye bye Spencer, Martin, PJ and possibly Meesen. For any of those we could probs get a good deal, even though they play like spuds for us.

I read that today - I thought it was a brilliant artical and a great insight....

the main reason for posting here was this funny titbit from Foxsports infamous Adudicator who previews the games - i had a chuckle over it and thought you might like it

Hawthorn v Melbourne Demons, MCG, Sunday 2.10pm (EST)
The Adjudicator says: "How good would it be to see the Demons sneak into the eight? They could make a movie From spoon to September. Tim Robbins is 196cm, the tallest actor to win an Academy Award. He might be able to play Jimmy Stynes. Danny Devito or Joe Pesci would make a decent Dean Bailey and Zac Efron could pass for Jack Watts. The scurrilous suggestions Kate Hudson would pass for Watts is being ignored by Mr A for now. As for the Hawks, they're in a bit of strife. They do enjoy belting the Demons these days however and have to win to stay in the eight."

:D

DB on SEN right now, he just stated they are looking at a tall forward in this years draft as their ideal pick to work along with Jack but play a little deeper.

Leoncelli steps down as director

ANDREW Leoncelli has stepped down as a Melbourne board member due to business and family commitments.

Leoncelli, who played 146 matches from 1996-2003, joined the board in 2007 and was part of the Jim Stynes-ticket, which came into office in mid-2008. But after four years as a director, Leoncelli is not offering himself for reelection.

Stynes said Leoncelli had been a huge support and great contributor to the club.
