Sorry, not really a Melbourne media piece, but didn't want to create a new thread. Is there a reason Gawn's name is being bandied around at Richmond? I find it a little disturbing. I understand they might be interested in his services, but other than a trade, how is that going to happen? And I'm sure Melbourne is not interested in trading.

I'm guessing it's just he's the young ruckman who's shown the most this season. A bit like us dreaming of Malthouse, I doubt they would be making a concerted effort be ause we'd be mad to get rid of him for anything less than a first rounder. He'll be our best ruckman in 3-10 years through our premiership window.

Stupid article, it says they're interested in a 22-24 y.o. ruckman, list a heap of potentials they won't go after then says Gawn isn't in that bracket but they'll probably look anyway, despite Melbourne being extremely unlikely to let him go.

Why not say they're interested in Nic Nat or Zac Smith? Just dumb.

If anyone sees an article about us training at Kunming in China to do our obligatory session in altitude, don't believe the article when it mentions that Kunming is 'near the Himalayas'. I've been to Kunming and it's not. But yeah 'altitude' and 'Himalayas' do sound good together
