In 2 years, we have wiped out over $3 million in debt. Over the same two years we have smashed previous membership records and all while being battered from pillar to post on field during a fully intended rebuilding phase.

we make huge calls based on intangible metaphysical concepts!

Sorry, fooooty, but I had to say something... every club would argue that they had more passion than others. All the same, you're probably right!

im not interested in talking sense. This is a Melbourne Pride thread.

Our club has the the most passion. :thumbsu:

Spot on.

I take great pride seeing our wonderful President getting down to the outer during matches and mingling with the fans and families that make this club what it is. Who could ever forget Jimmy and Wonaeamirri's dad hugging in jubilation after our extraordinary win last year? Or seeing Jimmy in the front row of the cheersquad taking a mark after Aaron Davey's goal against Richmond this year? We've got one of the best men for the job in Stynes, someone who knows what passion, dedication and fighting through the hard times is all about.

Please, demonfan9, Brad Miller kicks very few goals so don't deprive him of the LEFT FOOT goal against Richmond that Jimmy marked.

- Exactly the right coach

Dean Bailey has lead Melbourne to two wooden spoons.

If the tanking speculation is correct then he hasn't really proven anything by showing that he can lose games.

If the tanking speculation is false then he has already shown that he is a very poor coach.

(I think the first scenario is true)

At the very least he hasn't exactly shown that he is a good coach yet. Next season should tell us how good he really is.

Should be worrying about your sad sorry side. Or is ninth your limit?

Talk to us when your team makes the finals? Can you remember those?

Why so defensive? I never said that Dean Bailey is a bad coach (unless if he was actually trying to win those games). All I am saying is that he has not proven that he is a good coach yet.

As I said, next year will show what is is truely capable of. If Melbourne finishes bottom three with the talent they have on their list would you say he is a good coach? With the talent Melbourne has I am expecting for Melbourne to finish 10th-12th (which I think would happen).

Solid, have you not noticed that we've had between a third & half of our squad out through injury right throughout this year?

Clearly that has had an impact on our ability to win games this year - as it would for ANY club.

We would have won 7-9 games this season were it not for our incredibly long injury list.

I always think to myself that i will reply, then i just remember you are around to say something way more logical. :)

Cheers mate :D:thumbsu:

Btw, will be heading back into the Bay soon, but msged Stronzo looking for a bit of clarification about just what the boundaries and rules of the game are there at the moment - because obviously the impression I think a lot of us have is that we've been getting carded for things that others haven't necessarily been receiving cards for...

Not the right thread to be critically analysing our posts and comments. If you have read through, you'll notice this is about showing some pride in our club, not making objective calls on players or coaches.
