If you are going to have the cheek to spam, at least put it on a soccer or general site, NOT on an Aussie Rules site.

He is not spamming

How is that spamming? It is a non-profit site. The whole point of a non-profit site is to provide you with information on something that might be on interest to you. This is what he is doing. So shut ya mouth and make your own website. Idiot.

Oh idiot, didn't you see Bluey's comments about spamming & also this is a foory site, this should be on the general forum if anywhere.

I am definately interested. Will have a look at it when I have more time.
Sounds wonderful on the surface though..Melb. definately needs to be revamped re its soccer admin.
I followed the Carlton team, but thought a big blunder for a general interest of soccer fans from Melbourne, would not really like to be associated with one particular suburb.
I honestly think the Knights and South Melb. SC have to have a hard look at themselves.

The sad thing is the corporates will pounce on these Socceroo games anf come in theit thousands. It will be expensive for ordinary fans.

The Iran game was something special (apart from the result) The corporates largely ignored it. Thats why the atmosphere was the best I have ever witnessed at the MCG. It probably won't happen again

I think that it's a great concept, but i'm not sure how long it will be before those boffins at Soccer Australia ever consider it. (They kicked out Canberra and Brisbane and the NSL has the gall to call itself a national competition).

Lets face it, I can't see how South Melbourne and the Melbourne Knights can build on thier traditional supporter base considering the strong links that they have with the Greek and Croatian community, because I am a second generation Australian of German/Danish desent, I cannot be excited about these two teams so I just follow Manchester City on the TV.

Although Carlton was eventually a failure, it did attract encouraging crowds at the Epping Soccer Stadium at its home games there, the facilities at Epping are great and would make an ideal base for your club, and the Shire of Whittlesea would be keen to support it.

Although you really should have put this on the General section, but it was worth reading and as a sports fan, I wait to see if this idea eventuates.
