Great news this... around 5,000 tickets left.
I can't wait for some on here to tell us that a sell-out = unpopular sporting event

Origin III Tickets Going Fast
Friday, June 9, 2006 - 6:31 PM
Rugby League is on the verge of selling out Melbourne’s Telstra Dome for the third Harvey Norman State of Origin game on July 5 and fans are now being urged to book their tickets as soon as possible.
Less than 5,000 seats remain available for Origin’s first Melbourne outing in almost a decade - and that’s with Origin two in Brisbane still a week away.
While there’s still time to book a seat, fans are being urged to make sure of their place at the match with strong sales still being recorded each day.
The uptake signals the excitement around Origin’s return to Melbourne in what has been a huge sporting year for Victoria.
ARL Chairman, Colin Love, said the league was looking forward to bringing State of Origin back to Melbourne.
“Origin 3 will be more than a great spectacle, it will go down as a must-attend event on Melbourne’s sporting calendar,” says Love.
“Whether it proves to be the series decider or the battle to avoid a clean sweep in the series, it is a match that is going to be high in emotion and skill.
“The way the Melbourne public have supported its return will make it a night to remember for everyone.”
The 2006 game will be the first State of Origin clash in Victoria since 1997 when the New South Wales Blues narrowly defeated the Queensland Maroons at the MCG.
Prior to that, Queensland won at the MCG in 1995, while the Blues took the points in a 1994 match that attracted more than 87,000 spectators (what was then a record Origin crowd and which is still the second biggest Origin crowd behind Telstra Stadium’s 88,336 in 1999).
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster on 1300136122 or on line through www.ticketmaster.com.au.
