Who would have thought that the Melbourne Storm would be leading the competition on their own after 10 rounds without Mat Orford. I'd just like to mention the Melbourne recruitment which does amazing things for this club. Players like Greg Inglis, Mat Orford, Brett Kimmorley, Cooper Cronk, Dallas Johnson, Matt King, Brett White, Jake Webster, Billy Slater, Cameron Smith etc were no names before they joined Melbourne, which I think is a great club and will be successful for a long time coming.

Melbourne- Premiers 2006. Maybe a bit premature but if they continue playing the way they are then there an excellent chance. They'll just have to beat Penrith first :D

I never expected them to go so well considering Orford and Bell left for Manly after the end of last season. Let's hope the Storm can maintain their current form for 26 rounds :)

And we cracked the 10,000 mark at Olympic Park tonight. Hopefully the extra supporters that were there tonight liked what they saw. I met up with a few friends after the game that hadn't been for years and they were definitely coming back.

The only problem that I can see is that we're on top of the league with some key players on the sidelines. Things seem to be going too well.

Next you'll tell me that Channel 9 will cover a few more of our matches.

Good to see the Storm do well. Agree with you that most of the persons were no names prior to coming to the storm except for Kimmorley who had played well and established himself as a name player at the Hunter Mariners.
