Did anyone go to the Open Training session today? According to Fox Sports News, there was over 600 there!

The word is slowly being spread my friends!

What ground was that, it def doesn't look like your normal run of the mill RL ground?
Princes Park in Carlton. Formerly known as Optus Oval. Used to be Carlton's home ground up until a couple of years ago. Hawthorn and Fitzroy used to play there as well.
Dump of a ground. Hated it with a passion.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't that the training HQ and operations area for the Melbourne Storm RLFC?

In a positive PR spin for Rugby League in Victoria though, the Storm attracted around 600 people to a training session held at Princes Park in Carlton yesterday.

Fan photos from the training session managed to end up on the predominately AFL dominated forum of Aussie Rules website, BigFooty.com with some fans calling on Victorian Premier, Steve Bracks to give the Storm a parade should they be successful on Sunday night.

It wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?

They never put my sons pic in the paper, but I'm going to get in touch with them to see if I can get a copy.

BTW Doc, we had to leave early due to a prior appointment. Didn't help that they were out late for the session. Not to worry, theres always fan day next year.
