Carlton has formed a two year partnership with the Melbourne storm. Something about the building of a new stadium at olympic park. Anyone have anymore info about this and what are peoples views?

from what i know, the storm will be playing home games at princess park in 2007 and 2008 while their (+ melb victory) new stadium is built next to the current olympic park

might as well use the ground since its only used for training, and other non afl football games , didn't they play the VFL Grandfinal at Optus Oval? didn;t they use to play it at Port Melbourne?

I think it's fantastic news, both sharing the same place will almost certainly improve Carlton's defensive half and hopefully harden our midfield by improving our tackling skills. Win win for both the clubs.

... Well they didn't have to buy a ticket off e-bay for $350 so they should stop complaining

Seriously though, residents near sporting grounds complaining about noise and lights annoy me.

Unless the ground wasn't there when they bought the house, then they have no issue.
