No I wouldn't have

Having said that I don't believe either myself or RJ were old enough to vote as we both wouldn't have been 18 in 1996.
No excuse. RJ has stated publically he supported the merge. Anyway, good to see you wouldn't sell out on your club. Pity your fellow supporters don't share the same view. Voting for a merge is the ultimate betrayal. It just doesn't get worse. When the Dees-Hawks issue arises again, I wouldn't be against the Blues buying out the Dees to keep them afloat. We need teams like Melbourne to make up the numbers. :)

It's quite sickening really....Thankfully though, the club has gone to great lengths to ensure the transition from the Demons to the Dees-Hawks will go as smoothly as possible. Ingenious recruitment, will ensure the Dees will finish middle of the road, or there about for at least another 5-10 years and with Daniher coaching, we will no doubt witness some more of the Dees now infamous, finals capitulations. Nath Carroll is an integral part of this plan.

You forgot to add Jamar, Godfrey, Miller and Holland. An extended list of mediocrity. I'm amazed they managed to get such an ordinary list into the 8 last year. :)

I find it interesting that all 4 of last years rabbles (except for Essendon) are in the NAB Cup Semis.

While all of 2007's contenders like WCE, Adel, Sydney, Freo, Melbourne, Saints and Dogs have round 1 firmly on their mind.

NAB Cup = Showcase time for pathetic clubs like Carlton.
We beat you twice last year so what does that make you?

All youcarlton fu##wits are living in the past.No one cares that you got the 4 pts last year against the dees.Half of you morons dont even know what your on about.how about you wake up 2yourselves cause the only way carlton will beat melbourne in 2007 on the MCG is in your dreams.

And 2 those 2 high draft picks who havent reached pubity yet murphy and gibbs i look forward to the day they get cleaned up and taken off on stretcher.....puley the fact is that the ****bags that run carlton just throw them in the deep end and play seniors...get rid of pagan and yous will go alright.

I was focusing on current, rather than past players......surely the less talented Holland brother is not still on an AFL team list?

The Dees haven't been a "contender" for over 43 years now. Just lacking "star quality" on their list. Predicting you'll slip out of the 8 in 2007, back to baseline mediocrity. Are you in favour of the Hawks merge like RJ? When it happens, it will be dominated by Hawks players at this stage, although the choice between Zac Dawson and Carroll for the Melbourne-Hawks FB will be a close call. :)
Hows Gibbs. WHAT A TOTAL WUSE.
