In all seriousness,if Sandilands plays forward; Fergie might get first go, as light as he is, he has thrashed the big and fast Richo before. Miller has the bigger body size and may get the go.

On Jamar and Jolly, just remember that they are both 200cm tall and weigh over 100kg, they won't be easy to stop.

I've been very impressed with Jolly. He has a huge leap and stands his ground very well. I was also surprised that Jamar wasn't drafted in 2001 as IMO he was one of the better ruckman to have come from the draft. Both of them certainly won't be easy to stop. Hopefully Polak and Haddrill will be on their game.

And for the record, Jamar is 197cm and 95kg and Jolly is 198cm and 95kg ;).

One of Lamb and Rivers will most likely come in this week, so overall I would line them up.
Sandilands - Miller
Croad - I would choose Bizzell for his arial ability, but the job may go to Lamb/Rivers.
Longmuir - Ferguson

Sandilands probably won't play up forward much. The way Connolly used him on Sunday was to rotate him between the ruck and the bench, and he was pretty effective. I would expect a similar tactic this week.

But like every week, if we win the midfield, we will win by 10 goals. If we lose the midfield badly, it could be ugly. If we break even, I think we have the forward line to win the match.

Hadrill on Nietz, he is strong, fast and reads the ball better than most. The Wall has closed down every tall he has played on this year - even if you dont see him, played on Hammil most of Sunday and then move to Gherrig to finnish of the last quater.

Hadrill would be close to the most improved player for freo this year.

I agree with ACT X and would play him on Nietz. Pavlich is to good to waste close to the goals. If Nietz is having a day out then move Pavlich onto him.

It is another big test for Freo to win at the G. Interesting to note that the last time they won there Farmer and Simmonds were playing for Melbourne.

I think the biggest hurt for you guys will be Cameron Bruce. he has the ability to tag and did a great job last year on bell and could of taken Headland. I think him and your tall defenders will be the biggest concerns for you.

i doubt the Dees will go in with 3 ruckman as teams have been badly exposed by Fremantle, especially in the running area and if the ball goes to ground then jolly, jamar and neitz will be in trouble. Gaspar showed that last week when he ran Neitz up whereever possible.

Our biggest challenge this week will be white, he is in my opinion the second best ruckman in the comp.
For simmonds to truely become a top class ruckman he as to at least be competitive against these type of players.
He wasnt against gardiner lets hope he is against white.

Bringing White back so soon after what appeared to be a bad injury smaks of desperation to me. The demons are worried by thier lack of tall timber.

White put his own hand up declaring his fitness, and has been training 100%. The club has said they won't risk him if he's not ready.
