Gawn, Brayshaw, May and Fritsch are the certainties from our best 22 who didn’t play.

We ran the game out which was a good sign. Still struggled to control and move the ball with much purpose though.

McKay and Gibbs showed their experience today though the crows probably missed Walker up forward.

We were pretty average first half. But second half we really took control. Ran the game out very well. Petracca may have taken the next step off the back of a huge pre season.

Not having a ruck hurt us to.

Mitch Brown looks like he’ll be handy.

Yeah he's going to develop as a forward because we see him as a midfielder. This isn't my opinion I know that we drafted him as a midfielder from inside the club

Walker is our best forward & ex captain.
Sloane is our captain & one of our best midfielders.
Smith is a past AA & part of our starting midfield.
Laird a multiple AA & quality small defender.

All 4 of these are being managed because they are playing in the bushfire game... which suggests they are amongst the better players in the AFL.

Seedsman is our best wingman.

Doedee, runner up in the rising star is a quality defender.

Fogarty with an "a" not an "e" is our other key forward who was also missing.

These are not fringe players!

Don't see why it's a big deal we prioritised giving minutes to fringe types for yesterday's game. It's not like 4 points were on the line.
