Genuine question - if Pies beat the Dees on Monday, do the Dees get pegged back as ‘pretenders’ or do people sit up and start taking the Pies seriously?
I’m not after validation for the Pies with the question, just curious around people’s view of the two sides.
here's one for the dees although I don't remember this one. Russell Robertson snagging 7 back in 2007 giving the Dee's the spoils.
RR was pretty flashy. Good player old Russ.
“...Throw in last year’s Premiership in an arrogant manner somewhere.”As per page 3 of the ‘Richmond Supporters’ Almanac’:
“If an opposition team win a game that is not a finals game, tell yourself they have peaked too early. If an opposition team lose a game, tell yourself they are simply pretenders”.
3 goal margin. Wasn’t a walloping.Last time we played?
3 goal margin. Wasn’t a walloping.
Wasn't your home game, read more closely what i said.We had 85k last year against the Tigers.
Last time we played?
English as a second language? Or just stupid?
Oh.. hang on. I just saw you come from Altona. A bit of column A and a lot of column B.
Also no way they’ll be 80k. Only got 77k against Richmond on Anzac Eve when it was our home game
We were coming off a hiding against HawthornAlso no way they’ll be 80k. Only got 77k against Richmond on Anzac Eve when it was our home game
Exactly! I was at that game. Out of the 77,000 50,000 were Richmond fans. If Melbourne had not put in a shocking performance against hawthorn then the game would of been over 80,000We were coming off a hiding against Hawthorn
I reckon that timing’s a solid argument for special considerationI'm not going. It's the first game Collingwood match in Victoria I will be missing in two years.
I have a uni exam at the same time the match commences
I take it your are just a typical Melbourne fan that drinks Chardonnay and brings your own cheese platter whilst sitting in the mcc yelling “go dees, go no.5”. And you like most Melbourne fans only attend 1 game per year on queens bday.
I also bet that you despise Collingwood and they are you’re most hated team, while Collingwood fans just think that Melbourne is just a minnow club that would not be around if it was not for Eddie and the Collingwood football club allowing Melbourne to have a home game on queens bday.
Herpa derp. You'd guess wrong. I like you lot. I use you as examples to my kids of why it is important to get an education and brush your teeth. And don't be sad that you can't afford cheese. I'm sure you can get your wife/sister to make enough of a distraction so you can steal some.
I actually have very nice teeth thank you. I get asked quite often “why I barrack for Collingwood?”
And actually I had a cheese platter last night from my Melbourne mate it was really nice
Disagree, I don’t think the margin will be over 4-5 goals either way.Big build up, but I’m backing one of these teams to s**t the bed... not sure which one
