Should be a real good game, much better than the last time these two played on Friday Night Footy against each other. Melbourne should stretch Geelong up forward, but they'll need the likes of Bruce, Yze, Robbo etc. to keep kicking 3 or 4 goals if Scarlett holds Neitz, which he has seemed to do with their past few encounters.

Oh and Kent Kingsley will be devastated Nathan Carroll isn't playing.

While our fadeout was worrying, it wasn't a worrying as the Bulldogs fadeout. After they got within 12 points we had time to kick 2.2 & 1 out on the full. We lifted when it was needed.
So it had nothing to do with The Bulldogs playing two 30+ degree games in 6 days?

Only Richmond have allowed more inside 50's than Melbourne so far, can you win a shootout against last years best defensive team?

(Serious question, not trolling...I don't know who to tip yet! :D )

Good Start to the season for you guys, Beating Essendon Would be the best part. Getting out to a 50point lead aprox to the Western Bulldogs last week is it a worry that they got within 2 goals late in the game or not really.
Geelongs only win come against my tigers they lost to West coast now I think Melbourne will win this game on Friday night just amatter of how much you will by.
Tigers literacy at its best.

Anyway good luck dees, good luck Moloney. Should be a ripper of a game.

We aren't saying the Dogs were unfit it was a very good effort to get up like you did after a 5 day break but the point BT is making is that we were able to stand up when really challenged.
Also with the inside 50's stat it's only Round 2 and I think offensively we are the best team in the competition so far. Against Geelong they might be the best defensive team but our forwardline is on fire at the moment and there is still question marks over their forwardline. Should be a good game.

Oh, absolutely!

Like I said, just trying to get some idea of who to pick. It's as even a contest as I've seen for a long while.
Good luck.

Could be to do with the Dogs being f*cken ordinary. Anytime we looked interested we got a goal. Not just rubbing in because we won either, I walked away from that match bitterly dissapointed in our effort for 3 and a half quarters.
