Well if God knows about it and clearly isn't helping in any way, quite the opposite apparently, maybe he's a deaf mute with chronic fatigue, who is so disinterested in the falcon's fortune, he's actually stuck in an eternal staring contest with his own holy jap's eye. In which case you might believe in the wrong god.
Ever tried Bahaism? Because I know a guy...

Just like in the wet labs and during cadaver studies, whenever I think of a tendon coming off the bone, I get hungry. Mmmmm...

Not sure why people are banging on about Spurr. Ballantyne will come straight in this week. Neale looked better than Spurr in the preseason and I can't see Spurr getting a game in the midfield ahead of Lower, (nor Morabito in a couple of weeks) nor in the backline ahead of Grover, scnos or Roberton.

Rookies? We don't need no stinkin rookies!

Broughton to the midfield, Spurr to back pocket. We have very few small defenders of quality.

Jeez i feel for Mello, he was a one touch player with good vision and a great radar by foot who was just starting to grow into his body and position.
Another few extra months of gym work and he'll come back in as a second dangerous wrecking ball opposite to Bella's

Meh, felt like he was a depth player at best this year.

Well you've never demonstrated you had much of a clue before, so why start now?

Don't see him competing with Grover, SCNOS or Roberton. He'd more likely push out someone like Suban, as he's a small/mid defender rather than a tall one.

But like for like, as you say. Balla for Mello. Lower for Fyfe.

Also, as you (kind of) say... there's no need to rush in working out which rookie to promote. Keep the spot open until the next couple of weeks shows whether Menagola or Spurr deserve the promotion, or whether we need a player of their individual types more.

So.. he's a best 22 all year is he? A guy who gets stuff all touches and maybe kicks a goal a game? He needs to be doing more. His forward pressure is good, but could be better too. I have a feeling he would have been dropped soon for Neale and Ballantyne to come in. He should follow Ballantynes mould and not De Boers mould.
