Last week after the shocking loss to the dogs, I gave up on sport for the year, then today stupidly I decided to watch the game.

NEVER AGAIN.

Disgraceful effort, I'm just so mad right now.
 
I'd normally mention youth, experience, development etc. but god that was one of the worst losses, and worst feelings, in a long time.

Wheels well and truly off.

That was un North Melbourne like , Brad Scott wanted to get rid of the Shinboner tag , well now son we want to get rid of YOU !!!!!
We have a soft draw and we still cant win , 2 forced changes from last week and 1 other we weak . We pride ourselves on our ability to respond and today we showed we are soft .
 
Luke Delaney is a ****in joke. I got so sick of him 5 metres behind the recycled spud Schultz all day n all he can do is throw his hands down by his side like a little bitch. He's got a big frame but he plays like a ****in girl. that campaigner can **** off back to the VFL where weak turds like him deserve to be. i don't care what way ya look at it, we are officially ****ed after todays effort. there is just no excuse for losing to one of the worst teams in the league after being 32 points up with 15 mins left. The only 2 that can actually be proud of the efforts today are Spitta and Petrie. The rest of the pretenders need a ****in reality check because they played like ****in skirts today. I've never been more embarassed to be a North Melbourne supporter than I am today. This one is up there with the Essendon comeback of 01. The AFL give us a beautiful easy run in to the finals to shut us up and what do we do? Play like a bunch of pussies. I'm sick of it, and I won't be going to another game this year. Brisbane will beat us next week and so will Gold Coast in a few weeks time...... Now who's gonna be the first over optimistic w***er to say that today wasn't that bad??

It seems whispers are growing about our ****ing pathetic approach to weights training - saw rumours being thrown around on here, and now word of mouth is spreading.

Well Scott, if that's ****ing 'elite performance' or whatever, knock me down with a feather.

6 need to go. 6 senior players drop. Ben Warren, Luke Delaney, Lindsay Thomas, Brent Harvey, Cameron Delaney, Kieran Harper, Ben Cunnington, Shaun Atley and Ryan Bastinac were not up to AFL standard today - VFL standard is a 50/50.

Atley has runs on the board this year - has been one of our better players. he stays.

Same with Lindsay Thomas, except he needs to fix the yips and stop floating in and out of games. 1 tackle at most in the last 1/4.

And Harper was not woeful today, not by a long shot. I would say his game was 'average', 4-5/10. But at the moment, he just does not do enough surely for a regular spot in the side. What sort of message are we sending when Cunnington (sure, he does a few nice blocks at stoppages but surely that's not enough) does 3/5ths of **** all and still gets a game. Complacency must start to set in, and he won't think I have to earn my spot.

Harvey, **** off into retirement. I've loved you from the day dot, I have probably got your autograph 10 times and have 5 photos with you, at different stages in my childhood/adolescence but sometimes frustration does peculiar things....**** me. Terrible. Nice 3 week holiday.

Please tell me the VFL team played well and we have some guys to deservedly be brought in? Speight? Garlett?
 
We need to go backwards to go forward. We won't win a premiership under Scott. This is just another step, albeit backwards one, in the right direction.
 
I've supported North since the mid 70's and I can't remember a worse defeat. Sure, the loss to Essendon after being 10 goals up was bad, but they had champions in their side. Port was chock full of spuds today, we were 32 points up 10 minutes in the last quarter and lost???? Words fail me i'm so p1ssed.
 
I can only say i'm as stunned as you all are...as the confident, flowing group of youngsters that made Geelong look silly a month ago at the Dome seems to have vanished?

The talent is certainly there, but just have to say it must be a heart-wrenching feeling. I recall losing to the 0-8 Lions of 1991 when they had a percentage of 50%, and this game today is probably in that same ballpark.

Ziebell, Bastinac, Anthony etc carved us up with long goals and strong running, these blokes need to find that form again. Hope they can do so..and if they can the season is still retrievable. Good luck for the future.
