The original plan was to have the victorian clubs rotate home matches here (so they'd have one each every 5 years), and they were close before North wanted to have both. Took the path of least resistance, We led the charge, WC just came along for the ride.

Feedback is that we do game day as a whole better than most, also one of the only clubs to actually engage and listen to the members.

Hard to please everybody of course, multiple avenues to filter out the loud minority.

Membership packs will be more customisable in the future.

So apparently there's a Member Appreciation Round coming up. Anybody know anything about this? Seems word hasn't spread east of Eucla.

I should have responded before but got lost.
It would be great if the members all recognised just how much work is being done by our club.
They have become the leaders in this state of making decisions to how the game is run in WA.
Our Admin are making the decisions and taking them forward tot he AFL. Maybe dragging along the other mob to get off their Rses and do something.
The month at home would not have happened had it not been for the club, our club.

Having a quick look at this we did actually get a pair of Grand Final tickets for last game;

The AFL and clubs will team up for the final four rounds of the 2025 Toyota AFL Premiership Season and Rounds 1 - 3 of the NAB AFLW Season to celebrate and reward members and fans across the country in August for Thank You Month

Apparently WA based members have received an email from the club giving them a chance to to be part of some things like a guard of honour before a game or watching the game from the roof of OS. Saw some people tweet about it.

Yes received an email from the Club this morning inviting me to nominate myself to participate in either the Round 23 Guard of Honour for players, Joining the Rocker on the roof pre-game or Raising the anchor with Johnny ‘the Doc’ Docker.

I registered for the Guard of Honour and club will notify me if successful in a few days time.

I get the impression the email has been sent to quite a few members nd the whole deal is about the Club’s Member Thank You Round.

Agree 100% the song is great but repeating the intro and not singing the verse doesn’t makes sense. It was meant to be sung in full.
