People are dicks about that. I often just buy a ticket at the gate and am in the nosebleeds so I sneak to a better seat and get 100 greasies from the people around... :(
To be fair, depending on where you're sneaking into some of those seats cost people over $800 a year and if you've gone into level 2 they've often been on a waiting list to get there. I personally don't mind if they're Pies fans sneaking in but it really pisses me off when opposition supporters do it so I can see where the greasies are coming from.

Sneak into level P with the 3 game members, they have some of the best seats and won't know the difference.

I've been getting more work so I'm thinking of biting the bullet and getting a reserved H and A membership, will that be level 2?

I've heard people say an AFL Silver membership is better but AFL website offers absolutely zero information. :(

That's great news! You'll probably get level 1 home and top deck away seats depending on how many people have renewed from last year. The memberships are really pretty affordable now that you can do the monthly payments but if you're unsure you can always email the club. They get back to you pretty quickly :)

Level 2 seats are only available to Legends members last I checked and even then its sold out. AFL memberships are better value for money but aren't the best for the club. I was an AFL member before I became a Legends member and its brilliant if you enjoy going to neutral games, I think I went to 35 games one year. Otherwise if it's just the Pies you see yourself going to watch the Home and Away Membership is just as good and much better for Collingwood.

Get an AFL Membership. Seriously, much better value for money. You won't regret it. Especially considering Collingwood only have level 1 behind the goals or level 4 seats left. Wing level 1 or 2 seats every week for me in AFL members :)

You can be a Silver Member to get those seats.
To big games you have to usually reserve a seat if you want to sit there.
This year it costs $8.30 to reserve seats for adults and $3.70 for kids.
Otherwise you can probably walk up and sit on Level 4.
AFL Members section is from M15-16 I think to about M27-28
I'm a full member but the only difference b/w full and silver is finals entitlement.
With Silver you can buy tickets for weeks 1 and 2 of finals at AFL Members prices.
Prelim if Collingwood are playing you can buy tickets at Collingwood members prices.
Full Membership also entitles you to Grand Final ticket.
You can still possibly get a Grand Final ticket on Silver if the game is not sold out.

I'm trying to find the concession price... AFL website shows nothing. Have to call but it does sound a lot better.

With Collingwood membership level 4 behind goals, I can get those seats walking up...

The concession price for a Silver membership is $440 first year because of joining fee.
Concession for AFL Membership can only be Pensioner or Student.
Here is a link with the info: https://membership.afl.com.au/your-2016-afl-membership#

I would only recommend an AFL Membership if you also want to go to neutral games.
You can go to any 40 games of your choice.

Personally I am sick of going to footy but pay for 5 full memberships.
I still pay because of Grand Final Entitlements.
If I drop off, I lose the full memberships and go to back of cue again for full membership.
Once you are in, you are in a way stuck.

That's alright. I read somewhere start up fee was 300... I don't usually go to neutral games but if I had this I would. Thanks.

Pity we can't sign up to the global digital pass at those prices in Australia. I prefer the WatchAFL international streaming to the one available in Australia. That price is also much better than the WatchAFL website.
