Anyone have https://am.ticketmaster.com/brisbanelions/membership/supporter/digital-membership ? My free Kayo year is about to expire and it looks like there's no decent offers, so saving $70 isn't anything to sniff at. How does it work if you've already got a membership - do you end up with two membership numbers, etc?

I thought as was in the ‘add on’ section of memberships that it was in addition to your membership. When I took it out there was no mention of extra membership numbers in the confirmation emails. And it is a bit of a saving. I was going to call them to clarify this as their wording is a little odd regarding membership, but I was too lazy

It's a membership add-on. You'll get an email with a voucher code and link, you just need to click the link to apply the voucher to your Kayo account (or to sign up for an account if you don't already have one).

I got a ‘digital membership’ email, whereby I can effectively save $130 a year on my current KAYO cost by taking out that membership (which comes with KAYO). I haven’t done anything about that yet.

I ended up finding out my power company has a Kayo deal, so when I added up the change it was only about $100 more on my power vs $230 through this. Definitely a cool promo by the club though.

They all do them now. My membership is as a Global Lion (which gives WatchAFL rather than Kayo access), likewise, has an equivalent across the board.

Not me, but the ticket section's always been flaky for me. I try to access my tickets during the week and save them to my Google Wallet, because the Lions app tends to give me a heart attack and make me refresh several times before it's prepared to concede that I have a ticket to the game I'm about to walk through the gate to attend.

Had to switch on an old iphone just to get the app to work. Hope it's a just me problem otherwise heaps of people will be caught out.

How many guest passes do you get? I have 3 season tickets but somehow I have 14 guest passes on my account? Surely they don't roll over year to year?

You should get 3 free guest passes for each membership, the first time this season I wanted to get a couple of guest passes I went on myLions account and there was only 1 there... I rang membership and they fixed it up almost immediately, have used 5 of our 18 guest passes so far.

Note- They do exclude some games from the free pass list, Demons and Magpies games were designated marquee games so no free ones for them, you can still get discounted tickets to the marquee games though.

It's definitely 3, I got 3 for each one last season and as I said I ended up with 3 each this season as well.

5 of those memberships are full 11 game September memberships and 1 a 3 game membership, not sure if that makes any difference.

Maybe they do (not sure) as you can only use them for games that the club believe won't sell out.
Bonus tickets form part of selling membership packs each season.
Costs the club nothing and members get to possibly introduce friends to AFL.

The more seats occupied the better it looks on TV and the more pies and beer they sell to the catering people.

IIRC there was an article not that long ago about us passing 40,000 members, no idea what the latest is. They used to have a running counter on lions.com, strange decision to ditch that feature.
