Got a call asking me to buy raffle tickets to support the club,have done so in the past.I politely declined but was tempted to say, win some games of football and then I would think about putting more money into the club !!!

Funny you say that. They had a donation based system like that a few years ago (from memory right as we decided to tumble down the ladder) ie. you pledge $5 per win.
