Just on this , only $5 per registration needs to be in the account tomorrow, is that correct?

I would not think allocation and deductions happen until after the Game finishes and the result goes our way.
Yep. To the best of my knowledge, we only need the $5 booking fee in our accounts tomorrow. Nothing else will be removed before the game is finished on Friday night.

AFL have released more category 4 packages for $1380 and includes Preliminary Final tickets under the Grand Final Series Pass name, so if you don't like your chances in the ballot that's an option.

I looked at the Series Pass before but it had designated games as the series pass game for the round not just any game you wanted to attend, and the ones I saw were at the MCG last week. Can people use this to get to Adelaide prelim?

just checked the ticketek site, it says "To give yourself the best opportunity to be successful in the ballot, we strongly recommend that you DO NOT select the following option when registering:
*Accept best avail reserved seat - No Standing"

is that legit? if I'm priority one, won't i just get a ticket???

Yep if you choose reserved seat only but all reserved seats are taken when your ticket is allocated then you effectively pass on the chance to buy a ticket

It is, however they randomly select out of the priority 1 membership starting at category 1, then category 2, etc. until they run out of priority 1s then they move onto priority 2, so it's unlikely a priority 1 will get standing tickets unless we have too many Gold members for seats we have allocated and too many request seats.

5k standing out of a 36k allocation I think it is. And that's assuming all the standing tickets go to the competing clubs allocation.
