Gee if we get a Richmond v GWS GF that could have massive ramifications for GF tickets.

Richmond win and we get our 15-17k and not a seat more. If GWS win there will probably be a second chance for the priority 2 members with it possible GWS will return some of their allocation as unsold.

Do we get to rule out any of the other categories, like say putting a line through category 1 for being too expensive?

Also, does anyone think there'll be a difference between signing up as a 7, or a 4 and a 3? My friend is worried that being in one block of 7 will increase the likelihood we get kicked to the back of a queue or out of a category because when we get drawn, there won't be a full block of 7 seats available.

And, will Ticketek choke and throw up an error because 5 of the barcodes are Adelaide Football Club Gold essential Crows, and the other two are the normal kind of Gold?

essential crow is priority 2

If Richmond get in I'd dare say the priority 2 chances decrease significantly.
Don't each club have a set allocation?
I do think it's the same pool of tickets. So priority 2's chances are purely based on take up by AFC priority 1 only.

That's a crazy price given a barcode just allows you to register.
If crows don't make it, you get nothing for your money!
That's true but at the end of the day if we do make it the tickets will be a fortune.
A membership costs $250 minimum and a gold upgrade is $140 so it's about $210 extra but you don't get to go any of the games.

Doesn't the Anti-Scalping laws cover the AFL Grand final?

I think they do, but if we play a side like GWS, there's a chance they'll return part of their allocation, which will boost our priority 2.

From memory Sydney did this a couple of years ago.

If we play Richmond there's zero chance of that happening.

My mate and his mum are both priority 1 but i'm a priority 2. Was planning on sitting with them but that's almost impossible, right?

I don't think we get any say in which category of seat we'd like. The only choice we get to make is whether we're happy to accept a standing room / restricted view seat. Other than that, I think you just have to take what your given, and they recommend having enough money in your account to cover a Category 1 ticket, if necessary - waiting for a Grand Final ticket is like a box of chocolates; you never know what you're going to get.

Is Silver Reserved priority 2 or 3?

Silver Reserved is Priority 2.

"Priority 2 Members include Silver Reserved Seat Members, Essential Crows Members, AFL Silver Members, Victorian Members, Interstate Members, Home General Admission Members and Bronze Members."

(all on Adelaide making the GF)
Of the teams left from the other side of the draw (because it wont matter on our side) what this means for us as supporters is the split is currently 17,500 each. If Richmond make it, there will be NO extras. If GWS make it there might be extras, if West Coast or Port make it it would be unlikely that there would be extra tickets available.

Best scenario for extra tickets to Adelaide supporters is a GWS opponent
Worst is Richmond
Highly unlikely is Port or West Coast
