Thank god for the cap previously. That visor makes you look like an 80's tennis player - or a girl. Which is fine if you are one or the other of those :p The scarf is good, but not sure what to wrap with it since like most already had a scarf :p

Not much this year. Yet another key ring and a crampon that could be useful for climbing very small mountains. Is that thing really a scarf? The best thing is the bottle opener/cork puller/penknife. And only one sticker? At least there was a pen but I doubt if I'll use it.

I thought the pack was a little tacky compared to previous seasons.

I'd like to see a return of the backpack/moneybelt they issued a few years ago as the old one I have is near the end of it's life but it sure comes in handy for work and carrying around our supporters group docs.

Is it just me or do Port have to hand out everything but the kitchen sink with their membership packages as the thing of real value, winning finals football is just plastic pie in the sky?

Actually my real point is all the crappy stuff you get with your membership is just unecessary

wouldn't it be better if they reduced the price?

I think we get a scarf this year but I already have three different ones, and I didn't even collect my hat last year.

Its only a waste if you're a renewing member really. If this is your first time signing on, getting all that stuff is kind of cool. And I have to say that this year's scarf is the closest to a decent footy scarf I've seen in Power colours.

It'd be nice if they did things differently for renewing members though, like RAA membership or whatever.

What I would like different in my membership pack next year for us interstate members is instead of getting that discount card for a variety of places which can only be used in SA, is another discount card that can be used Australia wide.

Do you get the Interstate membership or the full club membership as the full club membership gives you access to the Ambassadors Card Scheme which is national.

Whereas the Full Country/Interstate membership only gives you that discount card which appears to be 99% for use in SA - seems a little strange when you consider it's almost useless for those living outside SA.

I think the club should look at making changes to distinguish between SA country and Interstate in memberships and the benefits they receive.

I get the full country/interstate membership...that gives us automatic membership to out local supporter group, otherwise I would have just got the full club membership......there definitely need to be changes made to the interstate membership

I thought that might be the case.

I mentioned this to the club last year that they should have automatic Supporter Group membership apply to all Interstate/Country and Full Club Members.

Hopefully now with someone at the club dedicated to looking after supporter groups in 2004 they will look at things like this and make changes to improve on the various membership packages.

It doesn't affect us up here in Darwin as we actually don't charge for our Supporter Group membership as we'd prefer to get more people on our list and do the fundraising at functions throughout the year.

I get the full club membership to ensure I have a GF ticket anchored but I have mentioned the bit about automatic.
