I'm curious to know how many of the people that post here are actually paid-up members of the Carlton Football Club. I've been a member for the last 2 years and plan on continuing that.

Yes, this is my second year of membership.

Same as me. Can I ask how old you are? I'm 27 and have only recently been able to get together enough money for a membership. I love the packs they send with the stickers and stuff, the magazines and obviously the entry to however many games. I plan on staying a member for life, as long as I have the money.

I'm 20. Family of soccer crazy immigrants and nobody else really cares about footy so being a member when I was a kid was never really an option though I did receive a fair amount of merchandise. My teenage years, well I was a maverick & still had no money really. My brother actually bought me a membership at the end of 2009 for the 2010 season, I bought my own for 2011 and plan to stay a member for life.:thumbsu:

Good to hear mate. The club needs as many members to sign up as possible.

Fifth year of membership. I couldn't afford much at the start of the year after moving out, but one thing I made sure I had was my Carlton membership. The club means a huge deal to me.

I was in a Carlton guernsey when I was half an hour old. I intend to die in one.

Nice... they have bots now!
First year member in a row this year, was for 5 years before last year which I couldn't afford (along with my MCC).

When is or was member cut off date?

I had hospital bills and a couple of other debts that I had to pay thus far this year so haven't been able to afford it. First year that I haven't been a member aside from living overseas.

Can someone explain how the "pay as you go" membership option works? Is anyone on that? I've always forked out the whole thing at the start.

Third year of my membership however the club don't seem to acknowledge i exist being an AFL member... I go to 3 or so games a week so my membership is well worth it and i'll eventually get access to all grand finals. win!

6th year member. We where down in the dumps back then. Glad we are up and about now. Really only joined because of the pain we where going though and the relisation and rumores of our financial state, I couldn't bare to think my life without the blues.

4th yr being a member, was brought one when I was a kid by a family friend, had some time when I couldn't afford one myself but have been able to buy one myself since 2009.

It's pretty good value, but it kinda pieves me that I couldn't purchase a membership scalf last weekend. My first year you could get either a scalf or cap, but that has since been changed so now you can only get a scalf if you signed up before the end of December the previous year :mad::mad: I hate caps, and should AT LEAST be able to purchase a scalf when showing my membership IMO !!!!!!!!!!

16th year as a member... most important card in my wallet - ok maybe the drivers license is but it's debatable :p

Have enough bloody hats as well!! :p

Woot! My cousin (you know who you are) saw my post that I hadn't signed up and got me a membership! :D Make this season 18 out of a possible 22 (lived o/s for 4 years and was not aware I could have gotten an "away" membership, still purchased a fair wack of merch and gave the club plenty of global awareness!).

been a member for 24 years which I am pretty proud of as I am only 31 and from Perth, I have to thank my parents for paying my membership fees for the first 10 or so years.

I still have some great member stuff from back in the late 80's and early 90's which include a birthday card with a signed photo of Kenny Hunter in it and a leather case with a photo of each player and all their stats from 1989. I remember as a kid the photo of Brad Shine scared the crap out of me.

My 17mth old son is in to his 2nd year of membership. My Dad joined him up the day after he was born.
