Finally joined up…been planning to for years, but illness, and family commitments stopped me, and then covid hit when I was about commit! Now that I’ve finally done it, I’m even more excited about the season starting!

Got a response back from FFC membership team with no indication that we'll get a digital membership add on in the near future.

Looks like I'm now a Bulldogs member as well

Tossing up between a Kangaroos or Bulldogs membership. Both are the same price.

I notice the Kangaroos membership includes "Priority access to purchase a finals ticket in weeks 1-3"

There won't be an option for the 2023 season at least according to the membership team, and they are unsure whether it'l be an option in future.

The membership options for people who can't attend games are pretty poor TBH. They need to offer better value like the other clubs seem to be doing.

Sometimes I feel like we are taken for granted. They are quick to ring when they want you to renew but have a query about something and I feel like you get ignored.

In town for the derby, which my membership allows me to upgade to a seat, but apart from choosing a catergory, there's zero choice on where to sit, (Level etc)

My first post! Running into the same problem, contacted the membership team about it but there doesn't appear to be a way around, which sucks...anyone know a hack to get around it?

Wait a day or two and you can select leftover seats manually. If it's high demand you usually can't choose.

Just gotta hope there's seats available.

Yep, nice to have a heads up from the membership team that tickets were going on sale today... oh wait.

Managed to get some good ones for the Hawks game though, Block 146.

Yes I hate this as well. I would like to be able to nominate a preferred block rather than have to accept what Ticketmaster gives you - which is often crap.

You go to the game and your preferred block is half empty even though it's in the same ticket Category.

I remember the old days (in the '90s) when I used to look at the Budgie's membership number compared to ours and wonder if would ever get anywhere near the 50k mark. It's taken a while, but a seriously great milestone.

I would love it if memberships were only counted based on one number, and that number should not include pets.

Not sure if anything under a 5 game membership should be counted.

Is there a way to see breakdowns?

As a uni student it was great to get $25 concession ticket and sit wherever I wanted when we first moved to Optus.

Just got my 5th year membership pack! So cool. Wish I knew they had a digital membership instead of paying directly to watchafl all those years. Anyway, I’ll be wearing my swag around town with pride this year. I guess this makes up for a few years of crappy pens and stickers. Lol.

Did anyone get their 10th? 15th? 20th?

Just joking. I suspect the difference is because it's the five-year membership pack. I get a lighter version of this each year (I'm further away from Perth than LA is to you)

It’s not much of a milestone these days as the AFL changed the rules and count everything as a membership. Even comparisons between clubs or years is hard because you could go from 40k x 11 game membership +5k x 6 game 5k x 3 game to 20k x 11, 20k x 6, 20k x 3 and it looks like you’ve improved when you haven’t.

Now they are even doing cheap Kayo membership in Vic to pump up those fake numbers.
