I was out at the WO taday (29/3) to pick up my reserved seats for tomorrow's game. The membership department was quite busy with people purchasing memberships (quite a few with reserved seating as well) The lady behind the desk said they had sold almost 800 yesterday (28/3) which is great. Also almost all reserved seats on level 2 are sold. Hopefully this keeps up.
I thought i would share that with you.

Great news, I was able to pressure two work colleagues into taking out the memberships they had let lapse yesterday.

Great to hear that the membership department is getting even busier and that OldSchool was able to convince a couple of lapsed members to rejoin the pack. Not much chance of that happening around here though as I live in the heart of Catland. I can live in hope though as I do run into the occasional Doggie fan round here. I actually met one yesterday and was pleased when he told me that not only does he have a membership but is a Social Club member as well.:D

apparantly another 100 sold before Sunday's game.
Let's keep up the momentum.
Must be at 16000 by now. Not good but still a lot better than 12000 less than a week a go. Look forward to the update on bulldog site.

100? You mean 1000, don't you?

I checked out the tent when I got to the game about 1.30 and they were packed 10 deep.

Had another look out the window about 1.50 and they were still packed 10 deep (hope they weren't still the same people).

It is a relief to get to this figure so soon after the bad media blitz especially the Caroline Wilson bullsh#t article about death.
It will be interesting if we get over the line this week and St Kilda get beaten again we will probably have about the same number of members. Will the knives be out for them next?

Footnote: Luke Power said in the little paper today that he signed up as a Dogs member because the club has been good to Sam. I hope Sam gets a game soon because I like the way he plays. He rarely wastes a kick.

Probably was some of the same ppl, because i was there at about that time getting my gran's membership, and was waiting for about 20 minutes. The membership people were doing their best but it was a bit of a pain. It was good to see that many people there especially as there were 2 tents, one on the bridge and one near gates 4 and 5.
