Yeah I know, but surely there are a lot more away members then that little green area. I thought that would have been the new add on Away Membership (different from your 18 game membership). Pretty dodgy seats for $600. Can't complain though, money goes to the club.
I think it's only being introduced for the first time. They may increase it if there's more demand. The best seats (levels 1 & 2) would be taken up by the home club so they're just taking seats normally available for GA and charging you extra. You can generally sit on level 3 unreserved for price of GA.

I have an enquiry about the reserved seating membership.

I am thinking about getting one but by my self, as a mate who i'd go to Blues matches with might get a different membership or not at all.

If i go to a match with him and i want to sit in my reserved seat, how can i make it so he can sit with me? Can he buy the seat next to me for the match from ticketek or doesnt it work?

That's actually a good question. I would say that you could purchase a ticket in that section on the day, but depending on which seats are reserved by members, your friend may not be able to sit next to you.

You'll find all seats in that section will be for the year.

Thanks guys. :thumbsu:

I guess i'd either have to talk my mate into getting reserved seating with me and we put the forms in together or i'll get a general admission membership.

When we're a serious contender to win the flag then i'll get Captains Club reserved setting, with or without my mate, considering it is "Guaranteed access to purchase Grand Final ticket subject to participation", even if i dont use it throughout the year instead sit in the general admission area with my mate.

I'm about to get a gold membership and book it with my mates, so we all sit togethor. AFAIK everyone in our reserved section gets the same seat for the whole year. Your friend won't be aloud inside that area as he doesn't have a valid membership.

So the only way to do it is rock up use your membership and sit in general admin.

Another option which costs a fair bit more is the captains club premium gold, where you have an option to purchase 4 guest passes per home game.

Captians Club Standard Gold has that too, but I don't understand how that could be done if it's all reserved seats for members.

Ahh so it is.

Yeah i'm not sure how it works either, you probably get access to a Carlton area like how social club had an area behind the goals this year I believe... not too sure though

It does unfortunately, but for $70 it doesn't worry me too much.

I think it's a uniquely Australian thing to wear really old sports jerseys. In England, for example, all soccer fans buy the new kit for the year. In comparison if you go to the cricket in Australia you'll see cricket shirts dating back to the 1992 world cup.

I agree as well OZ, In the past 16years (since I haven't grown much) I have had 2 jumpers. I will be buying a new one next season (I had Whitnalls Number 8 on the back) Then again if The Kruz wears Number 8 next season I might as well wear it.:thumbsu:
