Thats EXACTLY what I reckon. I often use my Social Gold card to gain acccess and then sit in general admission or anywhere with family or friends.

Upgrading from standard Social Club to Reserved seating Gold Home AND Away games in Melbourne next year.

Can't wait - all this Juddy hype has got me very very excited about next season.

Well considering we only get 11 home games each season, yes :p

As for concession, just send a copy of your student id from the uni with your membership forms. If you can't wait that long, you could probably get by as long as you provide proof of your enrollment.

I used to work there many moons ago, unless it's changed the Carlton people don't really check when processing, as long as you take your ID to games as some very rare gate people ask :thumbsu:
 
thats the thing though - im finishing year 12 on thursday and havent enrolled to a uni yet cause i dont have a TER. just get a concession now anyway and give em a uni card next year?

As far as I know that should be cool. Concession proof is for the venue's mainly anyway.
I usually join up at the club and I never usually write my concession/uni card number on the form but I've had to show it once at the gate. But in all honesty I believe that's because I'm a mature age and they probably didn't believe I should be a uni student.

Just tell them your situation if you're not sure, you shouldn't have a problem, epsecially if you look like a year 12 they'll believe you :thumbsu:
 
My uni card expires at the end of this year but I haven't finished my course yet. Do you think that'll be a problem? Also, what package do I go for if I want to go to all 18 games in Melbourne with reserved seating?

So are you still doing the course next year? Because you'll get another card so it shouldn't be a prob, I doubt they'll check the date, like I said it's mostly for the grounds anyway.

I think you can get the concession 18 games Captains Club reserved (I think it's called), the old Social Gold.

I had a silver membership last year but my membership was for the 11 home games..... what that meant was for our home games, you just take your membership card to the gate, scan it & in you go (through the gates where members enter of course)
for the remainding games in melb that were not home games, I had to purchase a ticket to get in......
this year I will be upgrading to all 18 games silver membership :thumbsu:

At the Dome you can enter through pretty much any gate.

At the G, certain gates you can't enter through, like the MCC and AFL members reserve area.
 
Very happy to say I'm signed up for the first time.

It's my first year in the workforce following a lot of poor as c**p years as a Uni student and I'm going to travel over for atleast 5 games this year given the cheap airfares.

Also wanted to mention I bought a carlton guernsey from the online store a few weeks ago and I got it within 5 days of my order... :thumbsu:
