As usual this is the deal...

•Dynasty League
•12 team
•Standard 9 Cats
•PG, SG, G, SF, PF, F, C, C, UTL, UTL + 5 Reserves + 1 Yahoo managed IR slot.
•No extra slot for Euro players (i.e. if you drafted LLull then he takes up a spot on your roster regardless if he plays NBA or not).

•Separate two round draft involving rookies and free agents every year.
The draft order of the bottom six is set at the end of the regular season.
•The draft order for the top 6 is also set at the end of the regular season except for the 2 Grand Finalists who will have the 11th and 12th picks. If you haven't been active throughout the year though you get last pick in the first round.
•You are allowed to trade draft picks for the draft ahead and the draft following. (i.e. if we are in the 2016-2017 season you can only trade for the 2017 draft and 2018 drafts.
- You can not trade your 1st round draft pick in successive drafts.

Tanking and Absentia
If for whatever reason a manager does not set his team for an extended pariod of time as assessed by the commissioner a player may have their first round pick for the following year downgraded to the last pick in the frst round as punishment. If inactivity is ongoing, a manager may lose his team. This may be due to lack of activity or due to "tanking". Tanking is purposely not setting your team (or your best players) to lose each week.

LTIR discussion

Bugsy suggested we add the IR slot to our rosters this season to make it easier to manage our LTIR. I agree so it will go ahead.

However I think we need to discuss it; at present the rule is as follows;

•One Long Term Injured Reserve spot. If a player is placed in the LTIR slot he must have a legitimate injury! And once placed in the slot he can not return for active duty until a calendar month has passed. To allow the league to monitor this, when placing the player in the LTIR you must also post on the league message board that you are doing so, so it'll be time stamped allowing you and the league to know when he can return to active duty.

For example, post on the Yahoo league message board;

Dropping Rubio to LTIR (The Yahoo site will record the time and date you have posted it allowing you to keep track of the return date)


In relation to the long term injury reserve slot there is a clause that prior to the start of any regular season that a team may place a player in the long term injury reserve slot, however if a player is sent to LTIR prior to the start of the regular season he MUST miss the first calendar month of basketball. This season a player would not be able to return until the 16th of November 2018.




However I think we just add the IR slot and a manager can use it however he sees fit. He can place any player that is eligible for that IR in the slot. I know a manager can maybe stash a player there once he eligible but I don't really have an issue with that. I just think bottom line it is much easier for me and you managers to manage.


I have started a poll to see what the majority thinks.

Once everyone has confirmed if anyone doesn't have an issue I do not see a problem if managers want to begin trading players and picks prior to the rookie draft.

All trades to be posted on here obviously.

Any lopsided trades will be vetoed.
