Half expecting we'll get knocked off tonight. No Hazlewood or Cummins has exposed what is a very weak bowling lineup. This was on full display against Pakistan and we got smashed. Got some players coming in, but don't see our bowling improving drastically. At least we got a reality check of we're at, and means we won't be taking this group stage lightly. And with tough games against SL and Zimbabwe (who are dangerous on their day) we could easily miss out on our group stage. Coming off a long summer, doesn't help either, nor the fact they haven't had much time to gel as a side. I'm all aboard but many cricket fans don't seem to give a shit about this WC (fact it's played every two years and it's on Prime doesn't help), so if that's the case, the question is why should the players. On a subsconscious level, anyway.

Regardless, I am looking forward to this game and hoping for a strong win to begin our campaign.
