Nepal need to at least bat out the 20 overs but even if they do they will probably only get a score of around 120 at best.

Or the West Indies that played England and Scotland has….

#favourites

Your mob has played well so far, they are shaping up as a dark horse in this tournament

Hope got a bit too far ahead of himself in the last two overs trying to finish the innings off rather than keep the field back

Competition favourites first through to the next stage of the tournament

On a serious note while I don’t think we are a legitimate podium team who are fit to be considered a ‘contender’ alongside India, SA and to an extent NZ, I’m starting to think that the class of Hope, and the weaponry of Hetmeyer, Rutherford and Powell juuuust gives us a tiny sniff of winning the thing.

We have the tools that if it all fell into place and maybe one of those other teams did us a favour and knocked another one out, we could win the thing.

I don't see any reason the Windies can't go all the way and win it, they have a good deep batting line up and a bowling attack with plenty of variety in terms of pace and spin.

That being said they haven't been tested by any really strong teams yet, not sure you can call England a strong team when they nearly got beaten by Nepal who even Italy thrashed.

The Super 8 will stage will tell us more about where the Windies sit amongst the genuine contenders.

England came into the tournament on a run of 11 wins from 12 matches. They’re not India but they are a good solid T20 side for the most part.
Bizarrely given that they didn’t even qualify for the tournament initially I was very worried about the Scotland game - a thrashed 70 out their arse from someone like Richie Berrington is exactly the sort of innings that in previous world cups of t20 or ODI ilk would have seen us drop a game but we were good enough to avoid such a debacle and get the job done.
