Senior List
Hi Cat fans, Menschy here.
Everybody is tingling with anticipation over tonight's Brownlow medal. Of course the hot favorite is Andy McLeod, but i have a gut feeling there could be a big upset. I can't bet because i am an AFL player (until further notice, anyway), but i have convinced my Nanna to lay down a couple of grand on Dale Lewis. Her bet caused his odds to tumble from 3001 to 2995, so she did well to get on early.
There is also plenty of excitement in the air for Grand Final week. Personally i don't care much for grand finals; they do nothing more than rip your heart out and slam it on the floor and throw maggots on it and kick you in the groin until your eyes bleed. But that's just my view on them, if other people think there is something "fun" about them then that's their luck, i suppose.
I think with this grand final, you can expect to see a lot of pushing and shoving, trash talking and bitter rivalry - and that's just in the ticket queues! As for the big day itself, i am looking forward to somebody belting out that old toe tapper 'Waltzing Matilda' (Darryl Cotton and i are considering doing a 12" remix for the nightclubs).
see ya
Cat attack, GO CATS!
Cat attack, GEELONG!
