We don't have enough enforcers. This has already been discussed. A timely whack on a Selwood tagger from time to time could solve 2 problems.

Agree, but I wouldn't worry, Menzel is up there with Selwood as being 100% untouchable at the club.

Absolutely will. Same way as Clark will, Vardy will, Cowan will, but also in year 2 Gregson, Cocky, etc. And chances are Domsy and Jimmy will get some as well. Be it preseason, mid season, or whenever, there will be management of players all year long - and some will need maintenance of their specific issues as well.
Although at this point, maintenance IMO does not include surgery or scopes.

COMEBACK kid Dan Menzel has signed a one-year contract with Geelong as he looks to build on his exceptional late-season return from four knee reconstructions.

Menzel kicked four goals in round 22 to be the Cats' shining light in their 48-point loss to Collingwood.

The night capped off an amazing return to football that saw 1450 days pass between senior games.

He also played the final game against Adelaide but was subbed out midway through the third quarter with coach Chris Scott admitting nerves got the better of him as he had one eye on next year.

The Cats also re-signed injury plagued defender Cam Delaney for another season.
