Opinion Merge with Richmond

Lol Knightmare's come in with an analysis piece now. Vickery in the merged team though Knightmare.. c'mon.. I'd prefer Gault.

Vickery is the less bad of the relief ruck options. I could have gone with Moore for his versatility to also play back if extra height is needed down back. In saying that Vickery is still doing more today with four more goals already this season while spending more time through the ruck than Moore.

Vickery is fine, averaging 2 goals over the 2015/2016 seasons. He is also a 100 mark per roughly 22 game player which again is fine. As a third option behind Riewoldt and Cloke, playing his minutes through the ruck, that's fine by position.

Im not sure if this belongs in the level headed thread or deserves its own thread, so mods I wont take it personally if you do move it there.
I think we should merge with Richmond who are somehow going worse than us! Basically the new team would be called the Collingwood Magpies and we get to keep our colours and stripes. The team also gets to have Collingwoods theme song despite Richmond arguably having a pretty damn good song. I guess its more Richmond giving Collingwood all their best players then ceasing to exist rather than a true merger.

Round 1 2017 after merger is complete:
FB: Houli-Brown-Williams
CB:Reid- Rance- Scharenberg
C: Deledio- Adams- Sidebottom
HF: Elliott- Moore- Martin
FF: Fasolo- Reiwoldt- Edwards

Pros For Pie fans:

-Have to pretend to like 'richmond fans'

Pros for Tiger fans:
- Finally get to support Treloar
- Don't have to support Richmond anymore
- Get to experience a finals win

- Lose team colours and logo
- Lose team song

You forgot the most important point, we would then have 25 premierships and go 9 clear of Essendon and Carlton which would take them millennia to catch up!

Heard this was put forward but it fell over as they couldn't decide where to best utilise Shaun Hampson's gf in the 'merged' team (without Hampson), some argued she could date our first draft pick for a year, others wanted her in marketing.
