I actually like him. I blame Dodoro and Sheedy for Stanton being as poor as he has been this year. He is a outside attacking midfielder. He will never ever be a no1 midfielder. That is Dodoro's fault for drafting way too many KPP.

yeh i no he isnt gonna b a number 1 midfielder. but when he does get help he will b a good player for us. he jsut doesnt deserve the S*** he has been coping

Nick Suban from Nth Ballarat will do me just fine. Saw a lot of him last year and he is a really classy player and a natural midfielder.He leads and organises in the middle which is something we lack.
His game the other day against Vic Metro has shown his form has not dropped of this year as well. Was an AA mid last season and will be again this year.
No need to go looking at WA kids when we have a star in our own backyard

If Rich is availiable we will pick him. I agree on Suban though, but probably someone that will go between pick 6-15. We'll have a top2 pick and we should use it on Daniel Rich.

i wish everyone would get of his back. yeh he is struggling with the tag each week. but he is a good player for us. and wil b for years 2 come

what not being able to hit a target from 20 metres away under no pressure is because he is struggling with a tag every week! YEAH RIGHT!!!!

yeh his kicking has been down abit this year. but that comes with confidence 2

he is stil only 24 or somthing like that. wat u want to get rid of him and start all over with another 17 year old

AH! YES. if it means we can get a decent draft pick or a hard nosed midfielder.

I wouldn't get rid of Stanton, but he is not being used properly. Lets get Rich into the midfield and then Stanton can go back to being a goalkicking outside mid- where he is comfortable.

Yet you blame Dodoro for drafting Jetta instead of Tippett?

Yes because Tippett is a ruckman/forward. He'd do well as our 2nd ruckman...rather we drafted a small forward...

but he wont always b an small forward. he will come into the midfield in prob 2 years. once he gets a couple of pre seasons behind him.

I do not see anything that resembles Ablett or Davis in Jetta. We paid overs for him. That is not to say I want him to fail as I don't. I want him to succeed for the EFC as I love the club more than anything and one poor mistake won't stop me loving the club. However if we drafted a ruckman or a genuine midfielder instead of Jetta we may be in a better position.

well did u even watch leon davis when he started, he was terrible. doin the same things . havin under 10 touches a game. and he has been in the system for a while now. everyone rated jetta in the draft

How do you know that Houli and Reimers are 'steals'? Sure they're going ok now but how about we judge when they've at least hit 30 games.

Jetta will be a gun, Andrew Mcleod clone. Give him time hes been injured for the past 2 years.

And if we don't are we going to see a Daniel Rcih thread like we saw with Rhys Palmer
Don't under sell Suban. He is a seriously good player with very strong leadership skills who made the AA side last year playing in a midfield that did not have as many stand out performers as the WA side that Rich played in.
Personally i dont think there is a lot between them other than Rich got most of the hype for playing very well in a very strong WA side.
