Just dont fall into the trap that a lot of people do and simply rate players off one game
Can anyone give me a bit more info on Jack Ziebell and Zaharakis? both of them seem to be having good carnivals and both touted as potential top 10 picks.
I really think that WC or Melbourne will take Jack Watts with their first pick, he has been a stand out so far this year and both WC and Melb need a CHF/FF. If so this could give us a chance to get Rich at 3 or 4.

West Coast are developing the likes of Kennedy, Brown, Notte & McKinley for the forward line, I would say it's unlikely they would take a Vic Metro player with a very early pick (again)
More likely to go for a midfielder unless they rank him up there with Franklin, Brown, Pavlich types.

I forgot about Brown, also Mckinley imo is to short to play FF or CHF, he is only 184cm.
Well if Watts went to Melb at 1 then you would think WC would take NitNat at 2.

I prefer Yarran or Hurley.
Hurley i would take, very good prospect. Yarran on the other hand im sceptical about, from all reports he plays as a SF, something which we dont need. We need a quality Midfielder, i know that som think Yarran could turn intoa mid but i would prefer to be safe than sorry and get someone like Suban, Zaharakis or Ziebell.

Yep I am the same with Yarran. I think we have Jetta to play that FP position anyway. Rather get real quality midfielder like Rich, Suban or De Boer

Ziebell's a utility type with skills as good as anyone.
Started the year probably rated more as a key forward, but from what I've heard of his game on the weekend he was great through the midfield. Could be one to shoot up the order I think.
Zaharakis was available last year but was looked over. He's got skills and pace with height being his biggest question mark I'd say. Has had a great carnival and will push the second round now I think. He won't be a top 10 pick though.
As for Watts, don't get sucked into the media's attempts to talk down Naitanui. They're just trying to tone down the hype that they were so instrumental in starting. Jack's a great player, but I can't see Naitanui being looked over.
Could Chris Yarran being the first guy to actually drop in the minds of the public after kicking 7 goals in WAFL seniors as a 17 year old?
Probably isn't helped by being Aboriginal either.
He's a lot more than a goal sneak and has been more of a midfielder than Ziebell so far.

It is a risk taking a first rounder on a forward pocket- potential midfielder. Lot of ifs and buts. Honestly this will be our last time to get a A Class midfielder which we need BADLY.

Can't see us getting higher than pick 4. Melbourne will get pick 1, WCE pick 2. Then us or Freo pick 3/4. Can't see us beating too many sides anyway, but I like the improvement in our side from the start of the year.
