Pick 18: West Coast: Matthew DeBoer: After taking Natanui at pick 2 they will now need to upgrade their midfield especially if Kerr is on his way out.

If Kerr leaves, WCE will have a top 10 pick to use on a classy mid. That said, they will still want to top up with another one, I'd imagine.

I doubt we are looking at Cornelius. With Gumbleton, Neagle and Daniher already on the list as developing tall forwards i just don,t see a spot for Aaron.

The only things I can really draw from this phantom is ;

Lynch & Hill - to low
Schoenmakers & Redden - to high

Other than that, nice to see a couple of bolters and sliders, so good work.

It's all we and good to have bolters and players that fall but there has to be some sense to it.

By the way, i wouldn't think there would be any chance that Matthew Broadbent would fall outside the first two rounders.

I can recall an interview where a player said his club didn't even bother to speak to him before the draft.

Brisbane didn't speak to Leuenberger if I remember rightly. He was convinced he'd wind up at Port.

Roughead way to low, we won't get him. Better options such as Zaharakis and Cornelius available.
