Geez, he has missed a couple of training sessions. Suspendablel offence yes, but he is far from being so bad that he needs a last chance or your fired warning. He is not in the Fevola/Didak basket yet. He had a few drinks when he should not have, but he was not out all night, or pissing on restaurants, or hanging out at strip clubs with gunmen or drugging on. What are thes "Antics"?

Re: Here's to you Mr Lovett!

Watching the first quarter you could just see we desperately needed someone with poise and skills and with both Mcveigh and Fletcher already out, Lovett would have helped so much in that department.

yep i agree, could of used some composure to hit targets in the first

Re: Here's to you Mr Lovett!

Andrew cost us the game today. I didn't see him getting any possessions or taking pack marks in our forward 50.

By the way, where have all the Dyson knockers gone ?

Back in a couple of weeks I suppose.

Essendon fans frustrate the crap out of me sometimes.

Re: Here's to you Mr Lovett!

Thanks a ****ing lot, Andy.

I guess, long term, this is the best possible result, in that, if Lovett doesn't pull his head in now, he never will, but I'm absolutely shattered.

You're a disgrace, Lovett.

would you be in favour?

of the club saying, okay Lovett you've done the wrong thing, missed a week (and we lost) BUT with the injuries we've copped over the last week we're going to struggle to field a side against the Pies.

YOU HAVE TO PLAY and help us win the game against the Collingwood. We can't afford to have fit players of your calibre sitting in the stands.

I myself can't see it happening but would rather this be the case than giving games to someone off the rookie list who haven't earnt or deserving of a game either.

IF Andrew's attitude between now and the end of the season in regards to EVERYTHING football (including training) isn't 100% then they could then decide to put him on the trade table.

Re: would you be in favour?

Nope. We make a decision, we stand by our decision.

Re: would you be in favour?

I'd love if they do tell him that n he plays against Collingwood next week, but i can't see that happening. If they do let him off then i think its very week from the club and some players will want to take advantage of these sort of things.

Re: would you be in favour?

No. Being soft on a player will only lead to them screwing up late on in the season. See Brendon Fevola not getting suspended for pissing on a window and now being a screw up as an example.

He'll bounce back and be good for us.

Re: would you be in favour?

The decision has been made, we must stick to it.
Stevie J came back a better player, no reason why Lovett can't.

And I'd rather someone off the rookie list play, instead of Lovett. Magin and co bust their guts out and should be rewarded for their dedication and commitment to the EFC.

Re: would you be in favour?

I'm with the majority, the club must stand by its decision. Hopefully Lovett will be better for it.

Not to mention the lesson it teaches our youngsters.

Re: would you be in favour?

I'd actually give him another week, to ram home to him how much he stupid brain fades, and shitty decision makings massively affects the club and his team-mates.

If we have to go into the game with only 21 players, so be it.
