I had that CD! Ages and ages ago. Remember they played Stigmata and had a cool thing written by Scott Ian in the booklet. So, got given a copy of SOD live, which had a couple of ministry songs. Got me back into ministry so I finally bought "filth pig". "The fall" is beautiful. Also, who's got the new overkill? There's some good songs on it.
A new discovery for me if you guys have heard of them before.
"Come heavy" and "red, white and blue" are great songs off "the grinding wheel". If you haven't heard overkill in a while, check out "ironbound". It's a great statement of what they are about with the last few albums. Same with "electric rattlesnake". Will have to check the "live in Paris". Is it a cd or just thru iTunes?I had that CD! The Fall is a great song. I downloaded a Ministry live in Paris album a while ago and it's off its ****.
Haven't heard the new overkill sorry.
Yeah will check it out. I'm not sure if it was ever realeased. Same if you look on you tube it's obvious they made a live video but can't find it released anywhere."Come heavy" and "red, white and blue" are great songs off "the grinding wheel". It's called Sphinctour live sorry. There is a separate one called live in Paris but the Sphinctour one is way better. I thought the one I had was called that because it had a couple of songs from Paris."Come heavy" and "red, white and blue" are great songs off "the grinding wheel". Spinctour is brilliant. I got it from iTunes. Hey, what did you think of Mustaine walking up to receive his grammy while the house band played "master of puppets"?It's called Sphinctour live sorry. Ha ha ha ha. Didn't know about it but it cracks me up.Spinctour is brilliant. I got it from iTunes. Hey, what did you think of Mustaine walking up to receive his grammy while the house band played "master of puppets"?
Veil Chris Cornell. His powerful voice overshadowed how talented a guitar player / musician he was.
That was cool!
He was bloody great CC.
Jesus Christ Pose and Badmotorfinger in general were amazing examples of one of the most powerful voices you'll ever hear combined with great playing and
songwriting.
This was my favourite thing of his in quite a while.
Mad Season/ Layne Stayley tribute.
