Anyone getting the "master of puppets" box set? Cheapest is through Amazon US. I can't wait. I got the "ride" box set and it was brilliant. The pro shot concert from 84 / 85 was cool. Played "disposable heroes" before "puppets" was released.

Alice was my first real concert. Was in year 8. "Poison" was a big hit for him at the time. Very hard to top seeing Alice. The guilotine in his act is worth the ticket price alone.

Haven't got it yet. Got released Friday I think so it's in the mail courtesy of amazon U.K. Can't wait. The guys a pilot, fencer, singer, cancer survivor and beer baron. (Ok, not a beer baron, but he designs the "trooper" beers). Oh yeh, "book of Thel" is amazing. His solo work in the 90's is better than the two CDs Maiden did with Blaze.

This comes out next month, it's ordered through Amazon, that was the cheapest. 10 CDs. All the demos a bunch of concerts. A DVD of 3 concerts ( not pro shot "Cliff em all" quality). Cliffs last concert is on tape. I'm looking forward to it. The "Lightning" box set was awesome.

Yeah Bruce has done it all. I turned on discovery one day and was watching a plane show and went "hang on that's Bruce flying that giant airliner" haha.
Yeah I totally agree with you on the Bruce solo v Blaze.

Yep, Thurs night and snuck in last night after Alice to see their last 30 mins or so.

They're disbanding so was a little sad but hectic as always :)

Sounds pretty cool. Are you being sarcastic about the cliff em all quality? Wouldn't wanna be too much worse than some of the live songs on there.
I would love to see the ride one. Heard a demo of the Melbourne show on that tour once. It sounded fuken great.

No. Being legit. The shows they used for "cliff me all" are being released in there entirety in the box set. The Lightning one was great because it was pro shot. (Fade to black on cliff em all was from a tv broadcast, they recorded the whole concert). If you get on iTunes you can check out the quality of the concerts. Otherwise we can catch up for a beer and go through the box sets sometime?
